Over the last 12 months Dawsonsongroup PLC has been rebranding its business units to give a true reflection of the group’s scope. This change was then put into place at the start of 2018, with all business units working to make the changeover as smooth as possible.
Since the official brand name change on the 19th March 2018, Dawsongroup Sweepers has been changing.
Why we rebranded?
Previously ourselves and other business units within the group have been known as Dawsonrentals , however, as a group we are now able to offer much more than just a rental service. We can now offer long and short term hire, new and used machine sales and our own in house finance, as well as being able to offer service maintenance packages on customers own machines.
Furthermore, by changing our name, it has helped us to promote ourselves as part of a larger group, not only promoting ourselves, but the other business units attached to us.
Also, for Sweepers, we have been part of Dawsonrentals Materials Handling Equipment for 12 years. This rebrand has given us the opportunity to become a brand in our own right, splitting from MHE whilst still working closely with them from a group perspective.
What work has gone in?
At the start of the rebrand process, individual teams were put in place for each business unit to ensure the rebrand transition ran smoothly and all employees were kept informed throughout.
In order for the rebrand to be successful we have changed all of our internal and external documentation, including rental agreements, KPI reports and spec sheets. As of this month, we are also in the process of updating our external signage and van stickers in line with the new logo. (As seen below)
